Since 1974, Germantown United Methodist Preschool has been a place where children take their first steps into learning surrounded by love. As a ministry of Germantown United Methodist Church, we offer a Christian, play-based developmental program in a friendly, family atmosphere.
We partner with parents as their child’s first and most important teacher, and we support every family with a community of love, faith, acceptance, open-mindedness and forgiveness.
Growing Children to Their Fullest Potential
Germantown United Methodist Preschool provides a loving, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children to grow to their fullest potential in six ways.
Emotionally
Children learn to identify their feelings and choose appropriate responses while keeping a positive outlook.

We guide children to be respectful, independent, caring, accepting and honest in their relationships.

Learning Through Play, Rooted in Faith
Young children learn best by doing. Our developmentally appropriate curriculum is based on the Tennessee Early Learning Developmental Standards and gives children hands-on experiences that build curiosity, confidence and independence.
